Disable OpenLDAP Anonymous Access

There may be instances where you would want to disable OpenLDAP searching via an Anonymous Source. Let’s get started, login, and su to root

edit the slapd.conf

add the following to the slapd.conf file

now save+quit and restart the slapd service

That’s it, you have successfully disabled OpenLDAP Anonymous Access!
