Aer Lingus has finished installing Starlink Wi-Fi on its entire long-haul fleet, One Mile at a Time reports. The service is free for all passengers, with no loyalty-program sign-up required.
The fleet
The rollout covers all 12 Airbus A330s and all 14 Airbus A321s, including both A321LR and A321XLR variants. Those are the aircraft Aer Lingus flies across the Atlantic. The first Starlink-equipped Aer Lingus aircraft, an A330, entered service in March 2026.
Ahead of schedule
The airline originally planned to finish long-haul installs by the first quarter of 2027, then pulled that forward to the end of 2026. It wrapped up before the end of October. Short-haul European aircraft (27 A320s and eight A320neos) are next, but no timeline has been announced.
The deal is part of a plan announced in November 2025 by Aer Lingus’ parent, International Airlines Group, to bring free Starlink Wi-Fi to its airlines, including British Airways and Iberia. Starlink offers gate-to-gate connectivity that supports streaming and work on multiple devices, and it has become a common choice for airlines upgrading in-flight connectivity.
