Tesla’s registered Robotaxi fleet in Texas keeps growing. A check of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles’ public operator record on October 23 lists 927 vehicles under Tesla Robotaxi: 420 Cybercabs and 507 Model Ys, according to Cybercab Collective.
A week of growth
That’s up 124 vehicles from the group’s October 16 count of 803 (349 Cybercabs and 454 Model Ys), meaning 71 more Cybercabs and 53 more Model Ys were added in about a week. Trackers following the same state data reported 69 Cybercabs added in a single day this week.
What the numbers do and don’t show
The roster is a statewide administrative record. It doesn’t show how many vehicles are available for bookings at any moment, how much they’re used, or which service area each is assigned to, so it shouldn’t be read as a production total or proof that every vehicle is carrying riders. Still, the rising Cybercab share is a concrete change in what Tesla has registered in Texas.
The growth follows Tesla’s Q3 call, where the company said Cybercab is heading to Dallas, and this week’s Austin service expansion to Circuit of the Americas for F1 weekend.
